Dr Farah Adeeb is an expatriate from Lahore. She studied her
PhD at the University of Auckland before taking on a position with the
Environment Protection Authority in South Australia. She is now a senior air
quality manager with the equivalent organisation in Western Australia. She is
also the branch president for Clean Air Society for Australia and New Zealand.
Farah is also a freelance writer and these poems are therefore reflective of
the thoughts and feelings of many within the immigrant population within
Australia.
